Music & Worship

One of the strengths of Woodlawn Baptist Church is the music ministry. Through this ministry we provide people an opportunity to personally become involved in a worship service in which we praise God and honor His name through music. It is a vital part of our ministry and our worship experience.

We have a fully graded choir program for everyone with six choirs ranging from preschool through adults. We also have a handbell choir, and a Worship Band that leads in our worship services. These choirs rehearse each week. The children and preschool choirs meet only during the school months. In addition to providing special music for our weekly worship services, they periodically provide special music programs such as Christmas and Easter cantatas. We also have numerous quartets, duets and soloist. Our music ministry provides Christ-centered music for our worship services. So, if you are looking for a place where you can exercise your God given musical gifts, then there is a place for you in the music ministry of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
